Narrow aisle forklifts work by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the aisle width. Yale features the double reach NDR and the single reach NR units for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks apply best-in-class ergonomics and offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has different control handle and stance configurations.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are many control handle configurations that meet a variety of operations and a choice of fore and aft stance or side-stance options as well.
AC Motor Technology: This technology provides strong acceleration and deceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been designed for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of loads moved during a shift.
Reach & Mast Assembly: The tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the durability and rigidity of the mast; along with the reach assembly carriage which are reinforced for long life and the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: To really enhance the overall throughput and productivity, Yale provides industry leading uploading speeds and lowering speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a terrific feature that maintains lower oil operating temperature whilst reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: To greatly reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the steer effort is actually technician adjustable so as to reduce operator exhaustion. In the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically initiate.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also referred to as very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks. These equipment are made for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors lift both the cargo and the operator to its required height. This height can be more than 30 feet. Similar with most turret trucks they are normally wire or rail guided when used in very narrow aisle applications.
