End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are popular in the material handling business for their great flexibility. These equipment have great performance characteristics that are somewhat comparable to sit-down electric forklift models.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suited for warehousing operation atmospheres that have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are usually less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machines are an ideal choice for applications that require frequent on and off access, because their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
Lots of businesses utilized a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading devices could arrange finished products on pallets and materials to be stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent option for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need for immediate use in a safe and efficient way.
All basic reach truck models would have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the equipment. Telescoping forks are mounted to the out-rigging and can move down and up. The blades also include a hydraulic system that allows the driver to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not just gives more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the reach truck finds the shelves that are selected for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the forks to swing into place and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into place. Usually, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet across without any problem, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
