Linamar Corporation, known as LNR on the TSX, obtained Skyjack during the month of August 2002. Linamar is best known for its production of assemblies, modules and precision-machined components. Linamar's solid balance sheet provides Skyjack with increased strength and long-term stability in general. Skyjack presently has production facilities in Alaska, Hungary and the United States with support offices in Asia and Europe.

The company has a lot of self-propelled scissor lifts in its lineup, with models that can work at heights up to 56ft.
